Hydraulic Swing Clamp Cylinder SSZ 250

    Product Overview

The SSZ 250 is a high-pressure swing clamp cylinder independently developed by HEISS, designed for automated fixture clamping and positioning. As a dedicated swing hydraulic actuator with a rated maximum working pressure of 250 bar, it integrates two core motions: 90° rotary swing and linear clamping stroke. It first rotates the clamping arm away from the workpiece to avoid interference during loading/unloading, then advances forward to deliver stable heavy clamping force, which greatly optimizes the operating space of machining centers and automated production lines.
This series adopts a compact integrated round body with built-in precision spiral swing mechanism and dual-stage sealing system. All structural dimensions and sealing grooves comply with DIN and ISO hydraulic standards, supporting long-cycle high-frequency reciprocating operation. It is widely matched with standard hydraulic stations, PHU booster cylinders and DD multi-port swivels, serving as the core clamping component for metal cutting, 3C automation and mold auxiliary positioning systems.
Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

Integrated Swing & Clamp Two-in-One Function

Different from separate rotary and linear cylinders, SSZ 250 combines swing avoidance and clamping into one unit. When releasing the workpiece, the arm rotates 90° outward to fully vacate the loading area, eliminating collision risks during manual or robotic feeding. The one-piece design reduces the total number of hydraulic components and simplifies pipeline layout.

    High-Pressure Stable Clamping & Anti-Vibration Performance

With a maximum working pressure of 250 bar, the SSZ 250 generates powerful and consistent clamping force. The built-in mechanical self-locking structure maintains clamping force without pressure drop when the hydraulic system is pressure-held, effectively resisting cutting vibration during CNC machining and avoiding workpiece displacement.

    Compact Structure & Space-Saving Layout

The ultra-short integrated cylinder body minimizes installation space on fixture base plates. The external thread mounting variant can be embedded into mold and fixture bases, which is ideal for compact multi-station automated tooling systems with limited layout space.

High Wear Resistance & Low Maintenance Cost

Core swing spiral parts undergo high-frequency quenching and tempering heat treatment to improve wear resistance under frequent swing cycles. The detachable standardized sealing assembly allows quick on-site replacement of seals without disassembling the entire cylinder, significantly shortening equipment downtime. Multiple customized sealing variants adapt to dust, high-temperature and special medium harsh workshop environments.

Full Compatibility with HEISS Full Hydraulic Line

SSZ 250 can be seamlessly matched with HEISS PHU pneumatic-hydraulic booster cylinders, DD multi-port rotary swivels and DIN 24554 standard cylinders, forming a complete rotary fixture hydraulic system for rotary tables and multi-axis automation equipment.
