    Product Overview

    The ROEMHELD B1.590 is a single-acting, spring-return block hydraulic cylinder with flat plunger, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 bar. It adopts a rodless flat plunger structure, designed primarily for static workpiece supporting and anti-vibration backing applications.
    Hydraulic pressure extends the flat plunger to provide rigid supporting force. Once hydraulic pressure is released, the integrated heavy-duty compression spring retracts the plunger automatically. The piston is equipped with an embedded permanent magnet, and continuous dovetail guide grooves are machined on both lateral sides of the block housing. Sliding magnetic sensors can be installed freely along the stroke to detect the extended supporting position of the plunger.
    Two hydraulic connection variants are available: threaded side port version for direct hose connection and manifold mounting version with O-ring sealing for modular hydraulic fixture blocks. The integrated wiper barrier prevents cutting fluid and metal chips from entering the internal spring chamber, ensuring stable long-cycle operation under harsh CNC machining environments.
