    Overview

    The LC Series from KOSMEK is a lineup of flanged, single-acting hydraulic support cylinders designed to eliminate workpiece vibration and deflection during machining. A compact sub-series was added in November 2014 to meet space-saving requirements. The cylinders operate at a hydraulic pressure of 2.5–7 MPa, providing stable support for thin or large workpieces.

    Operating Principle

    1. Initial position: Plunger retracted by spring force.

    4. Spring return: When hydraulic pressure is released, the spring retracts the plunger.
