Product Introduction of ROEMHELD Block Hydraulic Cylinder B1.553

    Product Overview

The ROEMHELD B1.553 is a double-acting block hydraulic cylinder, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 bar. It features a non-magnetizable bronze alloy housing and an integrated piston with embedded permanent magnet, designed for laterally adjustable magnetic position sensors.
Dovetail guide grooves are machined on both side faces of the block body, allowing magnetic sensors to slide freely along the full stroke length. Users can freely adjust switching positions to detect any piston position within travel range. The bronze housing eliminates magnetic short-circuit interference, ensuring stable magnetic field transmission between piston magnet and external sensors.

Two hydraulic connection configurations are available: threaded side port variant for direct hose connection and manifold mounting variant with O-ring sealing for modular hydraulic fixture blocks. Optimized low-leakage sealing assembly delivers consistent performance under continuous CNC machining environments.

Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

    Non-Magnetic Bronze Housing Design

Bronze alloy prevents magnetic shielding. The permanent magnet fitted on the piston can reliably trigger external magnetic sensors, avoiding signal failure issues encountered with steel cylinder bodies.

    Freely Adjustable Magnetic Sensor Position

Continuous dovetail grooves on two sides support sliding sensor installation. Switching points can be set anywhere along the stroke, enabling flexible detection of intermediate positions instead of only end positions. Sensors can be mounted on either side of the block according to fixture layout.

    Bidirectional Hydraulic Actuation

Extension and retraction movements are both hydraulically driven. No reliance on return springs, providing stable cycle speed, repeatable timing, and generating both clamping push force and pulling force for complex automated fixture sequences.

    Two Flexible Hydraulic Connection Options

    • B version (threaded side port): Direct hose connection, suitable for fixture retrofitting and independent unit arrangement.
    • K/L version (manifold mounting): Flush installation onto hydraulic manifold blocks, realizing concealed oil circuits for compact multi-station modular fixtures.

    Excellent Corrosion Resistance

Bronze housing offers superior corrosion resistance compared to standard steel block cylinders, suitable for environments with heavy mist of coolant and humid workshop conditions.
