Product Introduction of ROEMHELD Block Hydraulic Cylinder B1.552

    Product Overview

The ROEMHELD B1.552 is a double-acting block hydraulic cylinder, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 bar. It features a unique through extended piston rod protruding from the cylinder rear end, specially designed for rear-end inductive position monitoring.
Unlike conventional block cylinders, the piston rod runs fully through the housing. A control cam can be fitted on the rear protruding rod to trigger standard inductive proximity switches. The sensor assembly mounts directly onto the cylinder bottom and can be rotated by 180°, enabling flexible adjustment of switching positions along the stroke. This design is ideal for scenarios where space constraints prevent side-mounted sensors.

Two hydraulic connection configurations are offered: threaded pipe port variant for direct hose connection and manifold mounting variant with O-ring sealing for modular hydraulic blocks. The heavy-duty steel housing and low-leakage sealing system deliver stable long-cycle performance under continuous CNC machining conditions.

Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

    Rear-End Position Detection Architecture

The continuous piston rod extends out from the cylinder bottom. Standard inductive proximity switches can be installed at the rear to detect clamped/unclamped piston positions, solving space limitations when lateral sensor mounting is impossible. Switching positions can be freely adjusted on-site.

    Bidirectional Hydraulic Actuation

Extension and retraction movements are both hydraulically powered, eliminating reliance on return springs. It provides consistent cycle timing, stable actuation speed, and generates both clamping push force and pulling force for complex automated fixture sequences.

    Two Flexible Hydraulic Connection Options

    • B version (threaded port): Direct hose connection, convenient for fixture retrofitting and standalone installations.
    • K version (manifold mounting): Compact flush mounting onto hydraulic blocks, creating tidy concealed oil circuits for modular multi-station fixtures.

    Modular Position Sensor Kit

Complete accessory package includes control cam and two sliding inductive proximity switches. The sensor housing can be rotated 180°, offering flexible layout adaptation for different fixture designs.

Robust Steel Housing & Reliable Sealing

Solid steel block construction withstands heavy clamping loads. Optimized sealing system minimizes internal leakage and extends service life under high-cycle production conditions.
