Service Kit for Piston & Cylinder Body of Parker MMA Series

    Product Overview

This series of maintenance service kits are genuine matching spare parts exclusively designed for Parker MMA heavy-duty mill-type roundline hydraulic cylinders, which are rated for 250 bar nominal working pressure and compliant with ISO 6022 industrial standards.

Two independent kit categories cover all internal sealing consumables for piston assemblies and cylinder barrel body static sealing, fully resolving internal leakage, pressure loss and medium bypass faults in MMA metallurgy, forging and heavy press equipment.

Parker MMA cylinders adopt solid heavy steel barrel construction with bore sizes ranging from 50 mm to 320 mm, and supporting two matching piston rod diameters per bore size. These piston & body service kits strictly follow original factory groove dimensional standards, with two standard seal material grades (Class 1 standard PU/NBR and Class 5 high-temperature FKM) available to match different working fluid and temperature environments.
Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

    OEM Original Dimensional Compatibility

    • All seal groove dimensions are identical to factory specifications of MMA series cylinders, no re-machining or modification required during on-site replacement, perfectly interchangeable with original Parker spare parts.

    Two Seal Material Grade Options

    • Grade 1 (Standard): Polyester PU + NBR compound, temperature range -20°C ~ +80°C, compatible with conventional mineral hydraulic oil, cost-effective for general mill workshop operation.
    • Grade 5 (High Performance): Fluorocarbon FKM + reinforced PU, extended temperature range up to 150°C, resistant to high-temperature oil, phosphate ester and water-glycol anti-burn fluids.

    Heavy-Duty High Pressure Resistance

    • PU piston seals withstand continuous 250 bar working pressure and transient peak pressure up to 320 bar; built-in back-up rings effectively avoid seal extrusion under heavy shock load typical of metallurgical machinery.

    Anti-Abrasion & Long Service Life

    • Polyurethane piston seals deliver 5–10 times higher abrasion resistance than ordinary nitrile rubber, minimizing scoring on hard-finished MMA cylinder inner bores and extending overhaul intervals.

    Complete Size Coverage

    • Kits are stocked for all MMA bore sizes from 50 mm to 320 mm, supporting all matched piston rod diameters (32 mm to 220 mm) and dual cushion / non-cushion cylinder configurations.

    • Confirm cylinder series (MMA), exact bore diameter and piston rod diameter printed on cylinder nameplate before ordering the matching kit model.
    • Select Grade 1 standard kits for normal mineral oil working environments with operating temperature below 80°C.
    • Choose Grade 5 FKM high-temperature kits if the system uses high-temperature oil, water-glycol or phosphate ester fire-resistant hydraulic fluids.
    • Select Piston Kit only if internal cross-chamber leakage occurs; choose Body Kit when oil seeps from cylinder barrel flange joints; purchase both sets for full cylinder complete overhaul.
