1. Engineering & Replacement Verification
QCan I get 2D or 3D drawings before ordering?
Yes. For reviewed replacement and custom projects, a 2D approval drawing can be provided before production. A 3D STEP model may also be supplied where available. Before order confirmation, the drawing should be checked against the mounting arrangement, pin or clevis dimensions, bore, rod diameter, stroke, retracted and extended length, port location, and installation envelope.

For selected series and model references, Fangu can review a replacement based on the available model or part number, nameplate, photos, drawings, and dimensional data. Replacement suitability must be verified against the mounting style and dimensions, bore, rod diameter, stroke, retracted and extended length, port type and position, operating pressure, load, and operating speed.
A replacement should only be described as form-, fit-, and function-compatible after dimensional and application verification.QWhat hydraulic port and seal options are available?
Depending on the product series and confirmed drawing, hydraulic connections may include BSPP (G parallel pipe), NPT tapered pipe, metric threaded ports, and SAE straight-thread O-ring boss (ORB) configurations.
Seal systems are selected by application rather than by one universal material. Common options may include NBR, FKM, polyurethane, PTFE-based materials, and application-specific seal profiles, depending on pressure, temperature, fluid compatibility, speed, friction, wear, and environmental exposure.
QWhat information is required for replacement-cylinder verification?
For the fastest technical review, provide as much of the following information as available:
- Brand, model number, part number, or nameplate photo
- Existing drawing, dimensional sketch, or clear product photos
- Bore, rod diameter, stroke, and retracted / extended length
- Mounting type, pin or clevis dimensions, and installation envelope
- Port type, size, position, and orientation
- System working pressure and, where relevant, pressure peaks
- Hydraulic fluid, operating temperature, speed / cycle information, and load condition
- Required quantity
2. Pressure Rating, Testing & Application
QHow is the working-pressure rating determined?
Working-pressure capability is series- and configuration-specific. It should be confirmed from the selected product specification or approved drawing rather than applying one pressure value to all hydraulic cylinders or components.
The review should consider the cylinder construction, bore and rod sizes, mounting arrangement, port configuration, seal system, load case, speed, fluid, and temperature. The hydraulic system relief setting and any expected pressure peaks must remain within the limits defined for the selected product.
Rated / working pressure, maximum allowable pressure, proof pressure, and burst pressure are different engineering terms and should not be used interchangeably.QHow are hydraulic cylinders tested before shipment?
Applicable assembled cylinders and hydraulic workholding units are inspected and tested according to the confirmed drawing, product specification, and inspection requirements. Depending on the product, checks may include dimensional inspection, stroke and functional checks, pressure testing, and external-leakage inspection.
If a specific proof-pressure value, test duration, inspection record, or certificate is required, it should be defined during technical review and confirmed in the order documentation.
3. Orders, Lead Time & Warranty
QWhat is the typical lead time?
- Selected in-stock items: typically 24–48 hours for shipment preparation.
- Standard production orders: typically 10–15 business days.
- Custom or replacement projects: typically 25–30 business days after final drawing approval.
QHow are warranty claims for overseas customers handled?
Warranty coverage is typically 12–18 months where specified in the quotation or order terms. A claim is reviewed using the product identification, order reference, operating information, and available photo or video documentation.
After technical verification, the corrective action may include replacement parts, repair guidance, or a replacement unit, depending on the confirmed cause and the applicable warranty terms. Return of the affected product may be requested when required for failure analysis.
QWhat is the MOQ, and are custom marking or labels available?
Selected standard in-stock items may be ordered from 1 pc. MOQ requirements for custom, OEM, or special-configuration products depend on the product, materials, manufacturing process, and order requirements.
Part-number marking, laser etching, and custom labels can be reviewed against the approved drawing and order requirements.
