ROEMHELD Threaded-Body Hydraulic Cylinder B1.470 Series

    Product Overview

The ROEMHELD B1.470 is a double-acting screw-in threaded hydraulic cylinder, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 bar. Unlike single-acting spring return threaded cylinders in the B1.450 / B1.461 series, both extension and retraction strokes are driven by hydraulic pressure.
This design delivers precise, repeatable retraction speed and cycle timing, and can also generate pulling forces. It is engineered for fully embedded installation inside fixture plates. Hydraulic oil is fed through internal drilled passages within the fixture, requiring no external hose connections and enabling compact, closely-spaced multi-cylinder arrangements.

Equipped with a double wiper system and low-leakage sealing assembly, it effectively blocks coolant, metal chips and workshop contaminants. Dual O-ring & back-up ring sets provide reliable sealing between the cylinder outer thread and mounting bore. The hexagonal shoulder can be fully recessed into the fixture surface when tightened with a DIN 3116 pin face spanner for ultra-flat installation.

Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

    Hydraulically Controlled Bidirectional Motion

Both advance and retraction rely on hydraulic pressure, eliminating dependence on mechanical return springs. It guarantees consistent cycle time, stable retraction speed, and can produce pulling forces for complex automated fixture sequences.

    Double Wiper Anti-Contamination Construction

The dual wiper barrier greatly reduces ingress of cutting fluid and metal swarf. It minimizes seal wear and internal leakage, delivering long service life under continuous heavy CNC machining conditions.

    Concealed Hose-Free Hydraulic Layout

Oil supply routed through drilled channels inside fixture plates. No exposed tubing eliminates collision risks with moving parts and supports dense multi-point clamping arrays.

    Recessed Mounting Capability

The hexagonal shoulder can be sunk flush into the fixture surface. Compact embedded installation saves valuable space for narrow clamping bars and tight fixture cavities.

    Flexible Clamping & Pulling Functions

Suitable for pushing clamping as well as pulling actuation. Widely used in automated tooling, welding fixtures and mold ejection where controlled retraction timing is mandatory.
