Product Introduction of ROEMHELD Block Hydraulic Cylinder B1.520

    Product Overview

The ROEMHELD B1.520 is a double-acting block hydraulic cylinder, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 bar. It is specially designed for stroke end position monitoring, and supports installation of high-pressure-resistant proximity sensors to detect the piston’s fully extended and fully retracted positions.
This block-style cylinder adopts a solid steel housing and two-way hydraulic drive. Unlike spring-return threaded cylinders, both extension and retraction movements are hydraulically powered, enabling precise, repeatable cycle sequences for automated clamping systems. Internal mounting bores allow integration of pressure-proof sensors to deliver position feedback signals to the control system. An optional distance bushing can be fitted to limit the effective stroke according to fixture requirements.

Two hydraulic connection variants are available: threaded pipe ports or O-ring sealed manifold mounting, to adapt to different piping layout schemes. Equipped with robust sealing assemblies, it achieves low leakage and reliable long-cycle operation under CNC workshop conditions.

Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

Integrated Architecture for Stroke End Position Detection

The cylinder housing reserves dedicated installation positions for high-pressure proximity sensors. Real-time feedback of clamped / unclamped piston positions enables closed-loop control for automated production lines, avoiding collision risks caused by unknown cylinder status.

    Bidirectional Hydraulic Actuation

Fully hydraulic extension and retraction eliminates dependence on return springs. It delivers consistent movement speed, precise cycle timing, and can generate both clamping push force and pulling force for complex fixture sequences.

    Two Hydraulic Connection Configurations

    • Manifold mounting (K-version): Compact concealed installation, neat oil circuit layout for modular fixture blocks.
    • Threaded port (B-version): Direct hose connection, convenient for fixture retrofitting and standalone arrangement.

    Adjustable Effective Stroke

Optional distance bushings can be installed to shorten the working stroke, offering flexible adaptation for workpieces with varying blank dimensions without modifying the cylinder itself.

Heavy-Duty Steel Housing & Durable Sealing

Solid steel block structure withstands high clamping loads. Optimized sealing system reduces internal leakage, suitable for continuous high-cycle milling, drilling and grinding machining environments.
