    Product Overview

    The ROEMHELD B1.462 is a single-acting, spring-return threaded hydraulic cylinder, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 500 bar. It evolves from the B1.461 platform and features a plunger-type piston structure without extended piston rod, also known as a plunger clamping cylinder.
    The cylinder can be fully screwed into tapped holes of fixture plates until the hexagonal shoulder contacts the mounting surface. Hydraulic oil is supplied via internal drilled passages inside the fixture, requiring no external hydraulic port and supporting compact dense array arrangement. Equipped with a robust wiper and plunger barrier design, it effectively blocks cutting fluid, metal chips and contaminants from invading the internal spring chamber. The flat plunger top serves directly as the contact surface for supporting or clamping workpieces, eliminating the need for extra contact bolts and simplifying fixture layout.
