Product Introduction of ROEMHELD Threaded Hydraulic Cylinder B1.459

    Product Overview

The ROEMHELD B1.459 is a single-acting, spring-return threaded hydraulic cylinder designed for compact embedded fixturing. Supporting dual pressure ratings of 160 bar and 500 bar, it features a unique external hydraulic port design that allows direct pipe or hose connection, differing from portless drilled-type micro cylinders such as the B1.458 series.
Equipped with an integrated rod wiper and reliable internal sealing system, the B1.459 provides excellent protection against coolant, dust and metal chips in harsh CNC machining environments. With an optional sealing nut, it compensates workpiece height tolerances of over 20 mm, delivering flexible and stable clamping for small-batch and variable-dimension precision workpieces. Its ultra-compact threaded body enables high-density array installation for multi-point positioning and clamping.
Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

External Hydraulic Port for Flexible Piping
Different from fully concealed drilled-channel micro cylinders, the B1.459 reserves an external hydraulic port, supporting direct hose and rigid pipe connection. It eliminates the need for fixture internal drilling, greatly simplifying fixture manufacturing and renovation, especially suitable for standard jigs and retrofitted equipment.
    Ultra-Compact High-Density Clamping Layout
With a miniature 8 mm bore and M12 thread mounting, the cylinder supports dense array installation. It is ideal for multi-point synchronous clamping of tiny precision components, electronic parts and micro hardware where traditional cylinders cannot fit.
    Large Workpiece Tolerance Adaptability
Matched with ROEMHELD dedicated sealing nut accessories, the B1.459 can compensate workpiece height errors exceeding 20 mm. It effectively reduces fixture adjustment frequency and blank scrapping rate for workpieces with uneven dimensional tolerance.
    Dual-Pressure Versions for Diversified Scenarios
The 160 bar low-pressure version features low leakage and stable output, protecting thin and fragile micro-parts from clamping deformation. The 500 bar high-pressure version provides rigid clamping force for hard metal micro-components, covering light and heavy micro-clamping demands.
    Excellent Harsh Environment Durability
Built-in rod wiper and high-quality sealing assembly effectively block cutting fluid erosion and fine metal chip intrusion. Optional FKM sealing further improves resistance to high temperature and chemical corrosion, ensuring long-cycle stable operation in continuous machining workshops.
