Product Introduction of ROEMHELD Threaded Hydraulic Cylinder B1.458

    Product Overview

The ROEMHELD B1.458 is a ultra-compact single-acting spring return threaded hydraulic cylinder, specially developed for dense multi-station fixture clamping and micro-workpiece positioning. It supports dual pressure ratings of160 bar and 500 bar, featuring an extremely small installation pitch of only 15 mm, which enables ultra-dense cylinder arrangement unavailable for conventional cylinders.
Designed for direct screw-in embedded mounting, the B1.458 adopts integrated thread sealing with standard sealing rings. Optional sealing nuts allow large tolerance compensation up to 20 mm for workpiece height variation. With a tiny body size, ball-shaped rod end and zero-external-port structure, it is perfectly suited for narrow fixture cavities, multi-cylinder array clamping and precision micro-part machining scenarios.
Q: What’s the MOQ of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A: Depends on the style of tie-rod. We would like to cast and forge once the quantity above 100 pcs.

Q:What’s the lead time of customized tie-rod cylinder?

A:  Well, it depends on the quantity and style of hydrualic cylinders, at least 60 days if we make casting and forging, at least 35 days by maching.

Q: Are you the manufacturer of hydrualic cylinder?

A: Sure, we are the manufacutuer and trading of hydraulic cylinder.

Q: What is the difference between double acting and single acting cylinders?own controlled by the pump or the valve or is it only one speed?

A: Double-Acting-have a port at each end, supplied with hydraulic fluid for both the retraction and extension. Single-Acting-hydraulic fluid enters through

a port at one end of the cylinder, which extends the rod by means of area difference. An external force or gravity returns the piston rod.

Q: I have a drawing, could you customized cylinder as my drawing?

A: Sure. Show us the drawing, we will quote for you soonest.

Q: Could you make the cylinder which is not on the above data sheet?

A: Yes, we make and supply a wide rang of hydrualic cylinders as a proffetional manufacture, there are only some kinds of them show on the website. Freely contact us to get more information.

Ultra-Narrow 15 mm Pitch for Dense Array Clamping
As the smallest threaded cylinder in the ROEMHELD lineup, the B1.458 achieves a minimum center distance of only 15 mm. It enables high-density multi-point synchronous clamping for tiny electronic parts, precision hardware and micro-components, which cannot be realized by ordinary B1.450 / B1.309 series cylinders.
    Large Workpiece Tolerance Compensation
Matched with optional sealing nut accessories, the cylinder can compensate workpiece height errors up to 20 mm. It greatly reduces fixture rework and adjustment frequency for batch production with uneven workpiece blanks, improving production flexibility.
Integrated Thread Sealing & Embedded Piping
Sealed by built-in O-ring inside the mounting thread, no external hydraulic port is required. Hydraulic oil is supplied via internal fixture drilling channels. The fully concealed structure avoids pipeline interference and simplifies dense fixture layout.
    Ball-End Self-Aligning Contact Design
The spherical piston rod end automatically compensates minor angle deviation during clamping, ensuring uniform vertical clamping force, preventing workpiece sliding and improving positioning stability for ultra-precision machining.
    Dual-Pressure Versions for Flexible Selection
160 bar low-pressure version suits fragile thin-wall micro-parts to avoid deformation; 500 bar high-pressure version provides rigid clamping for small hard-metal workpieces, covering diversified micro-clamping demands.
